The embassy in Salen (belonging to the proposed Federal Republic of Dalarna, now officially Swedish territory) was officially inaugurated in May 1994 at Storfjallsgraven, a ski resort close to the territory between Norway and Sweden.

Ambassadors Peter Johansson and Pernilla Dure made coffee and founder CM von Hausswolff and his wife Annika von Hausswolff guided the oncoming tourists around the ideas and paraphernalia of the state.
